Yes. Keep your dog on a lead in the main gardens. Dogs can go off lead in the Arboretum and along the Kelvin Walkway, but they are not allowed in the Kibble Palace or the Main Range glasshouses.
Can dogs visit Glasgow Cathedral and the Necropolis?
Dogs are allowed in the Necropolis on a lead shorter than 2 metres, under the council's cemetery rules. Glasgow Cathedral itself is on Historic Environment Scotland's list of sites where only assistance dogs can go in.
Do dogs need to be on a lead?
Many walks and estates here ask for leads, especially near livestock and ground-nesting birds from April to July. Follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and any local signs.
