NotesThe most easterly Munro, on the Aberdeenshire and Angus border, usually climbed by a long track from Glen Tanar on Royal Deeside, or from Glen Esk. A long day on open hill, so check your dog is fit for it. Deer stalking takes place on the surrounding estates in autumn and winter, so check estate notices before you go. Glen Tanar Estate asks visitors to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and keep dogs under close control.
